Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Nadhim Aziz, and in the presence of the Administrative Assistant of the College of Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Muhammed Jawad, the College of Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering, and in cooperation with the British company DCP / Iraq Branch / Holy Karbala Office, organized a scientific symposium entitled “The latest scientific developments in the field Implementation and innovative technical solutions to address construction problems”. The lecture was given by civil engineer Haider Talib Al-Gharabi, director of the Holy Karbala branch, in the presence of professors and students of the department. The symposium aimed to prevent implementation problems and innovative solutions to address problems during implementation in engineering projects. The symposium included many topics, including How to use concrete admixtures and their effects on newly poured concrete, as well as the curing conditions at early ages to obtain concrete with an appropriate moisture content during the period of cement hydration to develop concrete resistance.
